Mendocino Plaudits

Enjoyed Jerry Hulse’s Aug. 5 article, “Cape Cod West,” about the Mendocino coast. My husband and I have fallen in love with the area and go there every chance we get. I must tell you about some restaurants you should try on your next visit and mention a B&B.;

The Grey Whale restaurant is unsurpassable; Bay View has great paella and an ocean view, the restaurant in the Mendocino Hotel has consistently superb food. The Mendocino Farmhouse has several rooms in the main house and two in the barn. We prefer the Cedar Room in the barn. Marge serves a full breakfast and Sidney, the dog, and his football entertain. The Farmhouse is in a redwood grove east of Mendocino and the quiet is wonderful.
