National Medical Enterprises Inc. has donated $10,000 to the Westside Food Bank for food purchases.
“This grant translates to more than 50,000 meals, mostly for children, and it serves as a powerful defense against the growth of hunger and homelessness in our neighborhood,” said Richard K. Eamer, NME’s chairman.
NME, a health-care services company, has its headquarters in Santa Monica.
Westside Food Bank distributes free food to 33 nonprofit agencies.
