Antelope Valley Trips Redlands

Antelope Valley High’s Mike Fossati picked up teammate Freddy Edwards’ fumble at the Redlands 11-yard line and carried it the rest of the way to complete a 39-yard touchdown run with 11 minutes to play, giving the Antelopes a 17-16 upset victory over Redlands at the University of Redlands on Friday night.
Edwards, who rushed for 149 yards in 16 carries, ran for 28 yards before fumbling.
Redlands (1-2) scored two touchdowns and a field goal to take a 16-7 lead at halftime. Antelope Valley is 1-2.
