Patrick Daniels has been promoted to vice president of national project development for Messenger Investment Co., an Irvine investment builder specializing in commercial and industrial buildings. He will assume responsibility for development management of projects in California, Texas and Illinois. Daniels joined the company in 1988 as director of development and project manager. Before that, he was a project manager for Trammell Crow Co. in Austin, Tex.
