Americans Like Their Shopping Centers: A Gallup survey released in Kansas City at the Fall Convention of the International Council of Shopping Centers reported that 79% of 1,000 respondents do not believe that there are too many centers in their community, although 74% feel that they increase traffic congestion. Respondents visited a shopping center five times a month on average.
