Gary Gray, the baseball coach at Agoura High, said Wednesday that he has resigned his post to spend more time with his family.
Gray will remain at Agoura as a teacher and an assistant football coach. He led the Chargers to a 15-10 record and the Frontier League title last season in his first year as head baseball coach.
Gray said he would rather spend time with wife Valerie and daughters Kimberly, 12, and Cindy, 8.
“All things considered, my daughters’ childhood is too short to miss,” Gray said.
