School Policy on Smoking

Your editorial was concerned with what students will think when they observe teachers breaking an “unenforceable rule” prohibiting smoking on school property.

I have two questions that deserve answers: What do students think when they see that their teachers are addicted to a harmful substance? What do students think when these same teachers lecture them on the dangers of addiction to harmful substances?
