Gasoline Price Near Record High

ORLANDO, Fla. — The nationwide price of a gallon of self-serve regular unleaded gasoline has hit an average of $1.379, up 30.4 cents since Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait, the American Automobile Assn. said.
The highest price on record is $1.388, before the 1981 Easter weekend, the AAA said.
