Irvine’s Molle Commits to San Diego State

John Molle, a three-year starter at forward for Irvine High School, has made an oral commitment to attend San Diego State and will sign with the Aztecs on Nov. 14, Irvine Coach Steve Keith said.
Molle averaged 20.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game and was among the county’s best free-throw shooters, making 89% from the foul line.
Molle also had visits planned to UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, Tulsa and Colorado, but canceled them. Molle, who has a 2.76 grade-point average, plans to major in business.
