GOOD NEWS? For county Supervisor Don R. Roth (above) the good news was his election Oct. 12 as chairman of the two-state commission studying a 200-m.p.h. railway between Anaheim and Las Vegas. . . . But if Democrat Dianne Feinstein is elected governor next week, she’s sure to throw Republican Roth off the train. A commission staffer says they’re looking for ways they could keep Roth, “but believe me, we hold little hope.”
