Van Nuys 7, Monroe 6--With 1:04 to play, Monroe scored on a seven-yard pass from Ramy Antoun to Gene Hodge, but Antoun’s two-point conversion pass to Trusanu Tribne was broken up near the goal line in a Mid-Valley League game at Monroe.

Van Nuys took a 7-0 lead on a two-yard pass from Bill Calhoun to Robert Collier with 5:43 left in the second quarter.
