Caltech Professor Receives Awards for Book on Space

Bruce Murray, professor of planetary science at Caltech and former director of the Caltech-NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, has received two awards for his book, “Journey into Space: The First 30 Years of Space Exploration.”
The awards are the $3,000 American Institute of Physics Science-Writing Award in Physics and Astronomy and the Eugene M. Emme Astronautical Literature Award presented by the American Astronautical Society.
