U.S. Volleyball Team Plays Japan at Irvine

The U.S. men’s volleyball team, led by local players Scott Fortune and Mark Arnold, will play Japan at 7 tonight in UC Irvine’s Bren Center.
Fortune, a former standout at Laguna Beach High School and Stanford, played on the U.S. gold-medal team at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. Arnold played at Costa Mesa High School and Pepperdine.
Ticket prices for the match are $25, $10, $7 and $3. Proceeds will go to the UC Irvine men’s volleyball program.
