To the Rescue: American troops will no longer heave pails of sand thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has rounded up 50 tons of donated weightlifting equipment after learning the soldiers were using makeshift weights to keep fit. . . . . Meanwhile, award-winning comedy producer, director and writer George Schlatter has also done his part, donating 1,000 of his new “Joke-in-the-Box” toys to the U.S. servicemen. The toy plays back 40 minutes of classic one-liners.
