Mirror Group Plans Racing Daily in U.S. Publisher Robert Maxwell’s Mirror Group said the paper will start publication in the spring. Steven Crist, former chief racing writer for the New York Times, will be editor-in-chief of the Racing Times. No starting date was given. Crist said the paper will benefit handicappers and industry professionals.
