Tom Clancy, 67, Irish actor and member of the Clancy Brothers folk singers. After touring with a British Shakespearean repertory group, Clancy moved to New York where he won praise for his work on Broadway and off-Broadway in the plays of Eugene O’Neill. In 1959, with brothers Paddy and Liam and friend Tommy Makem, Clancy formed the group that has had a major influence on an Irish revival of folk singing. Clancy appeared in such films as “Airport,” and the television series “Starsky and Hutch.” On Wednesday in Cork, Ireland, of cancer.
