Kerr Glass Manufacturing Corp.: The firm reported net income applicable to common stockholders of $538,000, contrasted with a loss of $182,000 in the third quarter of 1989. Sales were $81.3 million, up 9% over the same period last year. The company said the increase in earnings was the result of higher profit in the plastic products and glass container businesses. Kerr, headquartered in Los Angeles, is a producer of glass containers, plastic products, metal crowns and home canning supplies.
