Two men who chatted with a Simi Valley pizza worker while waiting for their food pulled out a handgun when pizzas arrived, running off with more than $200, officials said.
The men ordered two large pizzas to go from Little Caesar’s Pizza in the 2500 block of Cochran Street about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, then sat near the front counter talking with the store’s assistant manager, members of the Simi Valley Police Department said.
When the pizzas arrived, one man threatened the employee with a handgun and the two fled with the money and the food, Sgt. Pat Hopkins said.
