Three-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond will compete against other professional bicyclists at 2 p.m. Sunday during the final leg of the DuPont Pro Cycling Championship at Newport Center.

Amateur bicyclists also have their chance to participate in three bike rides that begin at 7:30 a.m. Sunday and depart from Fashion Island.
The DuPont race will determine the first US Pro Criterium champion and follows two other races this year, one in Washington and the other in Minneapolis.
Riders may get more information and register from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the CycleFest ’90 booth in Fashion Island. They can also register at least an hour before the rides Sunday in front of the Pacific Mutual building in Newport Center.
There are varying entry fees for the morning rides. Parking and admission to other CycleFest ’90 activities, including the pro race, is free. For more information, call (714) 565-3643 for a taped message.
