Jockey Alex Solis moved Quick Step Slewpy into the lead on the final turn and the pair went on to an easy 3 1/2-length victory in the $32,000 allowance feature Friday at Hollywood Park.
The 3-year-old filly was never threatened after taking the lead and ran the 1 1/8 miles in 1:48 2/5 in defeating favored Casey’s Romance. Adorable Vice finished third in the field of 10.
Quick Step Slewpy paid $10.20, $4.60 and $3.00. Casey’s Romance returned $3.80 and $3, and Adorable Vice paid $3.80 to show.
