Saddleback 19, Golden West 0--Four Golden West turnovers--three of which led to Saddleback scores--doomed the Rustlers (5-4, 1-3) at Saddleback (5-4, 2-2).

A fumble recovery by Michael Coe at the Golden West 36 set up a 19-yard pass from Jeff Bailey to Terry Isles for Saddleback’s first touchdown. Another fumble recovery at the 36, this one by Damon Psaros in the second quarter, set up a 34-yard field goal by Scott Hannah. Saddleback’s final touchdown, a 14-yard run by Sherman Crane with 14 seconds left in the third quarter, came after Rick Sparks recovered a fumble.
