Pius X Tastes Victory at Last

The Pius X High School football team broke a 28-game losing streak last Friday night by defeating Miraleste, 20-15, in a Camino Real League game.
Junior Ryan Brass scored the deciding touchdown for the Warriors, who hadn’t won in three years, and then intercepted a pass in the final minutes.
“It’s a great relief,” said Coach Mike Gallegos. “The school and the kids are pumped up.”
