Rohr Industries Inc.: The Chula Vista company reported net income of $4.6 million for the fiscal first quarter ended Oct. 28. In the year-ago quarter it lost $11.35 million. Sales rose 37% to a record $320.7 million. Rohr makes aircraft-engine components and has benefitted from higher prices and strong demand for planes.
