Girl Found in Pool Dies

A 1-year-old Poway girl, who Tuesday fell into the family swimming pool, died early Thursday at Children’s Hospital, Deputy Coroner Chuck Bolton said.
Bettina Stroud was pulled from the pool by her father, Michael Stroud, shortly after 5 p.m., Bolton said. The toddler, who died at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, lived with her family in the 15000 block of Dogwood Court.
