NEW YORK — New York Rangers defenseman Mark Hardy has been suspended for five games for a stick-swinging incident last Friday against the Winnipeg Jets, the league said today.
Hardy received a five-minute match penalty for belting Doug Evans with his stick early in the second period of a 6-4 Rangers victory in Winnipeg.
