The Seattle SuperSonics suspended guard Dale Ellis without pay for five days for disciplinary reasons. KIRO-TV reported that Ellis and Sonic forward Xavier McDaniel had a fistfight at the SuperSonics’ office Wednesday, but McDaniel denied that. Ellis, not eligible to come off the injured list until a Nov. 29 game, could not be reached for comment.
