‘Chronicles’ Ending?: “American Chronicles,” a Fox Broadcasting series from the makers of “Twin Peaks,” has been canceled, according to sources. “People are picking up their final paychecks,” said segment producer David Jones. Fox, however, said the show has not been canceled and that no decision has been made to end the series. “We haven’t decided whether we will pick it up (for additional episodes),” said Fox spokesman Brad Turell. “American Chronicles,” a surreal travelogue from Mark Frost and David Lynch, debuted this fall and fell to last place in the ratings.
