Oregon’s Cher Scanlon Signs With UC Irvine

The UC Irvine women’s basketball program signed its fourth high school senior to a national letter of intent, the school announced.
Cher Scanlon, a 5-foot-10 forward who averaged 12.8 points and eight rebounds per game for South Salem (Ore.) High School, has agreed to attend Irvine next fall.
Scanlon joins the other Anteater signees, Christina Adams of El Cajon Granite Hills, Elizabeth Beers of Chino and Jinelle Williams of Brea-Olinda.
