Micheal Ray Richardson has changed his mind about breaking his contract with his Italian club in Rome and jumping to the Philadelphia 76ers. The former NBA all-star decided to stay in Italy after meeting for 20 minutes with the president of Knorr Bologna, Paolo Gualandi.
“I’m going to stay,” Richardson said. “Everything is OK now. I’m happy and they’re happy.”
Richardson was banned from the NBA four years ago for using cocaine.
