Local : Costa Mesa Man Shot Near Club

WESTMINSTER — A 27-year-old Costa Mesa man was shot in the chest and leg early today during a disturbance in the parking lot of a Westminster nightclub, police reported.
Gregory S. Brault was wounded shortly before 2 a.m. outside Sugar’s bar at 7052 Garden Grove Blvd. Authorities said an acquaintance of Brault drove him to a nearby residence before calling for help.
No arrests have been made. Lt. Larry W. Woessner, a police spokesman, said that details of the incident are sketchy and that the reason for the shooting has not been determined. Brault was listed in stable condition at UCI Medical Center.
