CSUN Seeded No. 2 in Volleyball

Cal State Northridge will be the second-seeded team when the Women’s Invitational Volleyball championships begin Thursday at the University of Tennessee. The WIVC is a tournament for teams that did not qualify for the NCAA tournament.
Houston (18-15) is the top-seeded team in the 20-team tournament, followed by Northridge (24-8), Georgia (26-11), Memphis State (27-7) and Arizona State (17-14).
The Matadors, the top-seeded team in pool B, will play Alabama Birmingham (31-13) and Colorado State (13-15) in pool play Thursday.
