Fountain Valley Coach Matt Simpson Resigns

Matt Simpson has resigned as boys’ cross-country and assistant track coach at Fountain Valley High School.
Simpson, a walk-on coach, said he resigned in hopes of finding a coaching job closer to where he teaches in Downey.
Simpson, 29, has coached at Fountain Valley the past six years.
