Computer Addicts Can Curl Up With These Really Software Spreadsheets
- Share via
LOS GATOS, Calif. — BedWare Unlimited Inc. is trying to give new meaning to the familiar computer term “spreadsheet.”
The company is putting spreadsheets in the bedroom with sets of bedsheets resembling giant pieces of traditional computer printer paper. They sport horizontal blue-and-white striping and vertical borders that look like lines of punched holes.
The “User Friendly Bedtime Program for Computer Lovers” proudly proclaims to be “engineered in Silicon Valley,” and the sheets are packaged with software-related graphics and tongue-in-cheek testimonials “guaranteed to put you to sleep,” BedWare said.
The company also is offering HeadCrashers--pillowcases to match the “spreadsheets.”
The sheets are available through Bedware and the Christmas catalogue of the Computer Museum of Boston.
