Typhoon Hits Micronesia

AGANA, Guam — Typhoon Owen struck the Federated States of Micronesia with 125-m.p.h. winds on Wednesday, killing two people and leaving more than 1,000 homeless, officials said. The two victims were electrocuted by downed power lines in the Micronesian capital of Pohnpei.
