FEWER & LATER: Not only are fewer people attending the Orange County Performing Arts Center (A1), but those who are show up late, as if on impulse. . . . At every New York City Ballet performance last September, about 200 tickets were sold during the hour before curtain. “We’ve never seen that before, never anything close to it here,” says a spokesman. “Even in an urban area, that number would be very unusual.”
