Espinosa Retains Bantamweight Title

BANGKOK, Thailand — Luisito Espinosa of the Philippines retained his World Boxing Assn. bantamweight title today with a unanimous decision over challenger Taloengsak Sitbobey of Thailand.
The taller, rangy Filipino dominated the 12-round bout from start to finish, knocking down and bloodying the Thai, but failed to put him away. The judges scored it 117-112, 115-113 and 116-114.
