Auction News: An auction of antiquities Tuesday night in New York toted up $6 million in sales for Hesperia Arts Auction Ltd., an auction house recently formed by Bruce McNall, owner of the Los Angeles Kings and a longtime collector of coins and antiquities. Only six of 74 items offered failed to sell, but the top piece, a Greek bronze mirror valued at as much as $1 million, sold for $605,000.
