Trade Between U.S., Mexico

Regarding “Extraordinary Opportunity to Make a Deal With Mexico” (editorial, Nov. 26), concerning a trade agreement pact between Mexico and the United States in the near future: I think it is political genius on behalf of President Salinas and good for Mexicans in general, since given the opportunity, Mexicans are good business people and will no doubt help to alleviate their country’s poverty level.
