Classical East Indian dancer Ramya Harishankar will be recommended for a listing on the Touring Artists Directory of the California Arts Council. The council, whose touring directory review panel on Friday gave the Irvine resident a score of 3 on a scale of 1 to 4, will reimburse performing arts organizations in the state that present artists on the roster in the 1992-93 and 1993-94 seasons. Harishankar, director of the Arpana Dance Company, would tour alone. She is the sole Orange County resident to have requested the support this year. None did last year. The council is slated to vote on the recommendation in Los Angeles in January.
