Owner’s Win Streak Ends at 10

LAUREL, Md. — Cheerfy led all the way to win the $19,000 Laurel Race Course feature race on Tuesday, while snapping owner Rocco J. DeMilio’s streak of 10 consecutive victories.
Cheerfy, ridden by Santos Chavez, sprinted 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:17 2/5 and paid $7.60, $4.40 and $2.80.
DeMilio’s Sir Dance finished seventh after racing in second position for the initial half mile. DeMilio’s horses had won 10 straight races at Laurel since Nov. 8.
