The Pittsburgh Penguins obtained defenseman Larry Murphy and Peter Taglianetti in a trade with the Minnesota North Stars for defenseman Jim Johnson and Chris Dalhquist. Murphy, 29, was the Kings’ No. 1 pick in the 1980 draft.
