The flu bug has bitten the Minnesota Vikings, who had only one quarterback, Sean Salisbury, a third-stringer and former USC Trojan, available for practice.
“He looked like Johnny Unitas out there,” Coach Jerry Burns said of Salisbury.
Wade Wilson is out with a shoulder separation and backup Rich Gannon has flu.
