CLIFTON, N.J. — New York Giants rookie running back Rodney Hampton is charged with fondling a woman said to be a police sergeant and an attorney in a nightclub.
Hampton, 21, the Giants’ first-round draft pick out of Georgia, denies the accusation.
The woman’s complaint alleges that Hampton caused her “extreme pain” in the Dec. 10 incident, said Keith Foster, an assistant Passaic County prosecutor.
“According to the woman,” Foster told the New York Post, “some comments were made about the size of the lady’s breasts. Apparently, Mr. Hampton pinched the lady. . . . It caused her extreme pain.”
