I got back on the right track when Gaucho Alerta finished second in the ninth race, paying $7.40. However, I lost $6 for the day because Spanish Dior ran fifth in the eighth race. I’ll try to get back on the positive side today by betting $25 to win and place on Grand Award in the fifth race.

Mobile Phone, part of Bob Mieszerski’s exacta in the third race, scratched, but Bob made $28 when Laxey Bay won the seventh race. Bob’s bet for today is a $12 triple, Chief Appeal in the sixth to Navajo Storm and Magical Mile in the seventh to Frost Free, Farma Way and Earn Your Stripes in the eighth.
