Charles Barkley of the Philadelphia 76ers has overtaken Artis Gilmore and now ranks as professional basketball’s all-time field goal percentage leader with 58.3%. In his seven NBA seasons, Barkley has made 4,114 of 7,060 shots. Of those attempts, 676 have been from three-point range, and only 159 of them dropped, a .235 percentage. Subtract the three-point shots and Barkley’s career percentage is .620, easily the best in history among all players with 2,000 field goals made.
