Allied Victory in Mideast War

I was one of those people in Clancy’s article who supported the air war, but not the ground war. I was afraid our military equipment would fail and that we’d have a bloody, long casualty list.

Well, I was wrong. Our equipment worked because it was made by Americans who can build something right.

I am happy and proud to be an American. Thank you, Gen. Schwarzkopf and all the fighting men of the armed forces. And thank you, President Bush. Now, how about a few parades?
