Bill Dunckel hit a two-out RBI single in the ninth inning as San Diego State came from two back to edge NAIA Point Loma Nazarene College, 7-6.
Earlier in the inning, Scott Dennison knocked in the tying run with a sacrifice fly.
Ron Caton and Mark Ratekan each had three hits for Point Loma Nazarene (13-17). Ratekan doubled in the top of the ninth to put PLNC ahead 6-5.
SDSU improved to 22-7.
