MISSION VIEJO : City OKs Broader Water-Saving Policy

A new policy mapping out plans for water conservation was approved by the City Council this week.
The policy ties conservation strategies that have saved the city water over the past year with plans to expand water-saving efforts even further.
It calls for further efforts, including monitoring landscapers, using drip irrigation where possible, and meeting with water and school districts to adopt a communitywide conservation policy.
