Education Woes
I am one of thousands of students who was faced not only with tuition increases but also with simultaneous cuts of majors due to rigorous budget cuts.
As an individual I am scholastically very successful, having been placed on San Diego State University’s Dean’s List with a 4.00 GPA.
With one semester left until completion of my German single-subject teaching degree, I was informed that this major is being discontinued due to budget cuts.
The government is thus inhibiting and destroying the very hope of a well-educated future generation to lead this country into a better era.
Priorities must be set.
