Not Lake Castaic, which had been the place in March, but nearby Lake Casitas.
The Ventura County reservoir has been yielding trophies regularly. Top fish for the week was an 18-pound largemouth caught by Mike Droney of Port Hueneme. A night tournament held over the weekend was won by Marlin Spencer of Ventura with a 14-pound 9-ounce bass. Runners-up were Steve Wilson of Los Angeles with a 13-1 largemouth and Tom Firestone of Ventura with a 12-13 bass.
